The Fat Bastard story is one of friendship and passion for the wine industry. It was when Guy came to sample Thierry’s recent vintage that the range was born. Originally, the wine was only for experimentation, but when the pair tasted it together, they knew they had something special. Thierry’s reaction of the wine – ‘now zat iz what you call eh phet bast-ard’ – birthed the name of the wine.
