Our Boschendal 1685 Shiraz smells like dark berries such as cherries, mulberries and plum with a slight exotic spice. On the palate it is generous with deep black fruit flavours and pepper spice. It is rich and juicy with an integrated fruit core and silky tannins. This wine shows elegant freshness and length with lingering fruit on the finish.

Soft ripe tannins give fullness and richness to the wine, making it exceptionally easy to drink, while still retaining the structure to support at least five years in the bottle.
