The story of Jean le Roux traces back to 1704, when the French Huguenots fled to the Cape, South Africa. As soon as Mr le Roux arrived from Normandy and settled in Stellenbosch, he decided to plant 8000 vines. We’re sure the Mediterranean climate and fertile soil must have reminded him of the home he had left behind. Today, the J.C.
